Individual Membership

Engineering is the cornerstone of the American lifestyle as we know it today. It tackles major issues and is truly woven into the fabric of each of our daily lives.

At the same time, it is clear, that the engineering profession is currently in crisis. Over the past several years, it has been impacted by the pressures of the global economy and the diminishing numbers of young people choosing technical careers.

Additionally, there is fragmentation of the engineering community as "specialty" areas emerged over time.

The Engineers' Club of Philadelphia is working to resolve the challenges you face. It is the catalyst in the Philadelphia region to unite the engineering community. Through increased professional development opportunities, information exchange, and collaborative efforts with local engineering firms, technical societies and educational institutions, the ECP can help stem this crisis and reinvigorate the engineering community in the greater Philadelphia region.

The Club uniquely serves the entire engineering community through inclusion of all disciplines. Membership is not limited to engineers; we encourage anyone involved with the engineering community or engineering projects to join. It is perfectly positioned to be the Engineering Center in the Philadelphia Region.

What Does This Mean?

For the Individual Member: The Club is the place to get information, advance job skills and fulfill licensing requirements for PA and neighboring states. It is the place to network with engineers and other technical professionals to exchange thoughts and ideas. It is where the seeds of tomorrow?s engineering advances are sown and germinate.

For The Engineering Community: The Club is the focal point for the engineering community in the Delaware Valley and provides a unified voice for the profession. It stimulates interest in the field so young people want to become an engineer. It helps build future leaders in the engineering profession to ensure excellence in engineering continues in the Philadelphia region for generations to come.

It is an exciting and energized time for the Club - full of many new initiatives and opportunities for both the Club and its members. The Club offers individual (including student)and corporate memberships and an affiliate society membership package.

We invite you to become a member and to urge your company to become a corporate member. It may be a very cost effective way for your company to handle Club membership.
