On Thursday, September 26th, Mike Walton will present “Developing a World-Class, Sustainable Micro-City: The Philadelphia Navy Yard” during the poster session at the 2013 World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) in Washington, DC. Mike’s poster presentation will address the development and implementation of an energy master plan at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
The WEEC, hosted by the Association of Energy Engineers, is well-recognized as the most important energy event of national and international scope for end-users and energy professionals in all areas of the energy field. The WEEC features a large, multi-track conference agenda, a full line-up of seminars on a variety of current topics, and a comprehensive exposition of the market’s most promising new technologies.
Mike is a Project Manager with Burns. He has helped clients in the industrial, higher education, and commercial sectors develop and implement energy saving projects, and has experience with large campuses with their own central utilities. Mike is also skilled in project management and financial analysis, and has helped his clients reduce their energy usage while providing them with significant energy cost savings.
