Pennoni Associates Announces Executive Management Changes

01/08/14

Pennoni Associates is pleased to announce that David DeLizza, PE, has been promoted to chief operating officer, while Joe Viscuso, PE, PLS, has been promoted to senior vice president for strategic growth. Charles Perry, Pennoni COO since 2011 and former President of Pennoni acquisition PHR+A, has retired and will now serve in a senior consultant role.

“Dave’s leadership and broad experiences made him the best choice to continue and grow the success of our firm,” said Pennoni’s President and CEO Tony Bartolomeo. “We are also proud to have Joe on our team to take over our strategic growth initiatives. Joe is held in high esteem by his colleagues and looked upon as a leader in our profession. We look forward to the continued quality service and strong work ethic Dave and Joe will bring to their new positions.”

Mr. DeLizza joined Pennoni Associates in 1979 and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His responsibilities now include daily management of the firm’s operations, ensuring excellent client services, and balancing use of the firm’s resources and firm profitability. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware. Mr. DeLizza is also a civil engineering graduate of Drexel University. He sits on the Rowan University Civil Engineering Advisory Council, the Advisory Council of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, and the Stockton College Foundation Board of Directors.

Mr. Viscuso’s responsibilities now include new initiatives, client and project development, and mergers and acquisitions. His work specialties include site-civil design and land development permitting and entitlement, and he manages the firm’s work in the Marcellus Shale industry. Mr. Viscuso earned a bachelor’s degree from Widener and a master’s degree from Villanova University. He is the current Chairman of the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley Association Board.
