Multi-Society Meeting - Save the Date - December 8, 2014
The Engineers' Club along with an ever growing cadre of Delaware Valley technical societies have been working diligently to put together the 2014 Multi-Society Meeting. This year’s meeting will be on December 8, 2014
at the DoubleTree by Hilton
at Broad and Locust Streets, Philadelphia and will discuss "Infrastructure Challenges in Transforming the Navy Yard from Military Use to a Thriving Business Center
". Click here for a save the date flyer.
We invite any engineering-related society to be a technical society partner and join the 14 other societies who have already signed on (see the flyer for current list
). There is no cost to be a technical society partner
. All we ask is that you promote the event to your members and associates. The evening will feature a cash bar, dinner, and of course networking opportunities. We invite you to make the Multi-Society Meeting your group’s December event…or at least add it to your calendar! It's a good way to kick-off the holiday season by networking with other professionals.
Many societies subsidize the cost of their meetings, either from society funds or through corporate sponsors. In an effort to set as low a ticket price as we can, we are looking for financial sponsors for the event. We encourage you to consider becoming a technical society sponsor or contact some of your typical corporate sponsors and give them the opportunity to help sponsor this meeting. There are three sponsorship levels, with increasing benefits at the higher levels:
$250 – Elf Sponsor. Recognition at the meeting and in meeting materials, and logo in running media presentation
$500 – Reindeer Sponsor. Recognition at the meeting and in meeting materials, and a full slide in running media presentation
$750 – Santa Sponsor. Recognition at the meeting and in meeting materials, a full slide in running media presentation, and a display table in the reception area.
To be a society partner or financial sponsor, contact Bob Wright, 215-922-8080. Responses are requested by October 15; however, if your board will be meeting after that to confirm, just let Bob know when you'll have a decision. Click here for a save the date flyer.
Once again, Construction Management Association of America will be coordinating a Toys for Tots collection.
