On November 10, delegates of the engineering-related technical societies of the Delaware Valley and past Engineers of the Year met to elect the 2016 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year. In an effort to accommodate delegates who live and work in the suburbs, the election was held in two locations: Urban Engineers in Center City and McMahon Associates in Fort Washington, with a WebEx connection. The planned satellite location in Cherry Hill was not needed.
Nominating remarks were presented by Jeff Given of the American Society of Highway Engineers and Charles Clerecuzio of the International Society of Automation, followed by video remarks from Kevin Johnson and William Dugary.
After serious deliberation, Kevin L. Johnson, PE was elected as 2016 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year. Click here for more information about Mr. Johnson. We thank the candidates, the nominating societies, the delegates, and the past Engineers of the Year for their efforts.
