Philadelphia Science Festival
The Engineers Club of Philadelphia will be sponsoring a booth at the Philadelphia Science Carnival on April 20, 2013, 11 am - 4 pm. Our goal is to provide family-oriented science entertainment with a hands-on activity or an interactive demonstration to get kids excited about engineering! This is a great outreach opportunity to interact with kids and teens of all ages.
Several engineering and technical societies have joined the Club to participate in our booth. Come out and visit the Carnival and stop by our booth.
The Carnival has outgrown Logan Circle and will now be in the area bounded by the local eastbound roadway of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Winter St, and 22nd Street. We will be on Winter Street between 20th and 21st Street. Contact Emily Scholl
if you have any questions.
The Philadelphia Science Festival is more than just a one day Carnival. It is a ten-day, community-wide celebration of science featuring lectures, debates, hands-on activities, special exhibitions and a variety of other informal science education experiences for Philadelphians of all ages.
