Course Overview: Branch circuits deliver power from the final overcurrent device to most of the utilization equipment in all occupancies. Multi-wire Branch Circuits, Branch Circuits from different voltage systems, Disconnecting of Branch Circuits, AFCI & GFCI requirements, Ground Fault Protection of Equipment, Branch Circuit & Receptacle Ratings, Required Lighting Outlets, and more will be covered in this fast-paced presentation. It is critical to understand the requirements associated with these circuits that are an integral part of most electrical installations. The student will learn what the branch circuit requirements are and how to comply with them in the 2014 NEC.
