Friday, October 15 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Instructor Rich Van Wert will lead this popular class about the National Fire Prevention Association Safety Standard. Students will be introduced to the standards for the electric safety in the workplaces develop by OSHA and will learn about important updates and revisions to the NFPA 70E code. How to use personal protective equipment (PPE) will be discussed in addition to how it can significantly reduce the risk of injury. Learn improved work practices that reduce risk and expand knowledge about electrical safety. Lockout, tag out, working on electric panels, sub-panels, and motor control centers are just some of the subjects discussed. Many worksites and employers make this certification a pre-requisite for working on site. This class will be hosted at EAP’s office in Blue Bell.
