Project Description

This presentation will focus on reviewing current bus stops standards and designing stops for the future to accommodate ADA and other requirements.

Speaker Bio

Natasha Manbeck – Senior Project Manager, McMahon Associates, Inc.

NatashaManbeck,P.E.,AICP has over seventeen years of experience in the fields of transportation planning and engineering with a focus on coordinating land use and transportation systems. She is currently a Senior Project Manager for McMahon Associates, Inc., where she leads a broad range of transportation planning and conceptual engineering projects for government clients. Natasha’s background includes developing local and regional transportation plans, preparing successful grant applications, managing multi-modal improvement projects, and facilitating public meetings. Natasha oversaw development of the Building Better Bus Stops Resource Guide for the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association (PPTA) and PennDOT. Before McMahon, she was Director of Transportation Services for the Chester County Planning Commission. Prior to her work in Chester County, Natasha was a civil engineer for the District Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. where she worked on the Anacostia Waterfront revitalization. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and dual Master’s degrees in Civil Engineer and City Planning from the University of California - Berkeley.
