Project Description

For this year's ethics presentation, we are pleased to present a discussion on The Ethical Spectrum. The presentation will coverthe history of ethics, key ethical guidelines, and the code of ethics for engineers. We will learn to identify ways to handle ethical dilemmas, learn what happens when a violation occurs, and discusshow to follow the rules of ethics and how to protect ourselves.

Speaker Bios

Carol Martsolf – VicePresident and ChiefLearningOfficer, UrbanEngineers,Inc.

Photo of Carol MartsolfCarol Martsolf, PE, PMP, CPTD, LEED AP, M.ASCE is Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for Urban Engineers, Inc. (Urban Training Institute). A graduate of Temple University and a Professional Engineer with 27 years of experience, Ms. Martsolf has utilized her technical expertise and career knowledge to create the Urban Training Institute and develop dynamic training programs. Under her leadership, the Institute quickly evolved into an award-winning and highly-respected institution. She is a former President of the ASCE Philadelphia Section, past Region 2 Governor, and Chair of MOSAIC.

She has developed and executed various extensive leadership and project management programs for Urban Engineers, SEPTA, Amtrak, the Philadelphia Streets Department, Philadelphia International Airport, PennDOT, and other clients, to help them achieve organizational strategic goals and enhance leadership growth and development.
