Making Decisions with an Incomplete Information Set

In some real world systems, time critical decisions must be made with an incomplete information set. This presentation will explore simple examples and simple techniques that can be used to make these decisions. The mathematics used should be at a high school level. In Ballistic Missile Engagement, using radar measurements and missile seeker data, is the designated object the warhead, a piece of debris, or a decoy?
