As marketers, we’re often asked to complete impossible projects on even more impossible schedules. There’s nothing a marketer can’t do—although there is one word that marketers are apparently not allowed to say: No. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the importance of saying no, the pitfalls of saying no too frequently, and multiple ways you can say no without using the dreaded “N-O” word.
Jen McGovern, CPSM, will share real-life examples learned from a career as a marketing manager, where her frequent use of the word “no” gained the support of the marketing team, but nearly lost Jen her standing at the firm.
