For 35 years, GVF’s advocacy efforts have led to major projects receiving funding to be completed, advancing projects to remain on the TIP, all of which have positively impacted the region’s economic development and continuing to improve mobility throughout this region.
GVF advocates for improving local and regional transportation projects, infrastructure updates, and enhanced mobility. GVF has advocated for a long-term transportation bill, permanent parity for commuter benefits, and local and regional project funding.
GVF's Advocacy Committee assists in advancing GVF's advocacy goals. The committee helps advocate for relevant legislation, as well as help to develop relevant legislation at the state and national levels. The committee works to inform and engage GVF partners on advancing GVF’s policy goals.
