Transportation & Development Technical Group Meeting - Pennsylvania Transportation Task Force (No PDH)

Rep. White will present updated information on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's House Transportation Infrastructure Task Force and the future transportation funding programs. Rep. White leads the Task Force, which was created in July 2019 to investigate how to better fund transportation infrastructure concluded that shortfalls in funding for transportation improvements is linked, in part, to the spending of Motor License Fund money on non-transportation-related projects. It provides a comprehensive overview of the status of Pennsylvania’s transportation system and its funding mechanisms. The members of the Task Force represent a diverse cross section of the state. The Task Force concluded that shortfalls in funding for transportation were widespread.
