Course Overview: Attending this important class will go a long way towards helping the students make decisions and install correct overcurrent protection, whether fuses or circuit breakers. Come and learn some of the intricacies for OCPDs – for services, feeders, branch circuits, and taps conductors. Motor circuits and HVAC equipment will be included. Protect the electric work installed with correct OCPD to keep the property safe and prevent putting your company in jeopardy. Many worksites and employers make this certification a pre-requisite for working on site. Have your 2014, 2017, or 2020 NEC Book handy during this class.
