Electrify Philly Panel Discussion & Happy Hour

 

Join us September 26 for a networking event and moderated panel discussion around the challenges, innovations, policy, and opportunities shaping the landscape of Philadelphia’s electric grid! Enjoy drinks and appetizers, and network with like-minded individuals who are passionate about shaping the future of the electric grid in Philadelphia! The event starts at 5:30pm at Burns Engineering in Center City. Panelists will include:

  • David Smith, Director of Energy Services at Burns Engineering - With over 30 years of diverse experience in the energy industry, Dave helps clients navigate the energy landscape and delivers customized solutions to enable cost savings, increased resilience, and carbon reductions.
  • Dom McGraw, Municipal Energy Manager for the City of Philadelphia - In his role in the City’s Office of Sustainability, Dom focuses on projects and programs helping Philadelphia reach its goal of 100% clean energy by 2030.
  • Emily Yates, Chief Innovation Officer at SEPTA - Emily leads the Office of Innovation at SEPTA, which focuses on driving innovative initiatives, as well as incorporating sustainable practices and data-driven decision making.
  • Daniel Marzec, Policy and Communications Manager at Green Building United - With over a decade of experience, Daniel manages and supports GBU’s policy and communications. He is passionate about ensuring equal access to opportunities and resources while building resilience in our built environment.
