Join the YMF for a tour of the Philadelphia Water Department Queen Lane’s Water Treatment Plant
in Philadelphia, PA. A social with light refreshments will be held on-site following the tour. The
Philadelphia Water Department treats raw water drawn from both the Schuylkill and Delaware Riversas well as the sewage collected from the surrounding homes, business, and factories. Queen Lane Water Treatment Plant also recycles biosolids into clean, beneficial soil-like compost. The tour willinclude. This event has a 20-person maximum capacity.
