Join us for a technical tour of the transformative I-95 Cap Project in Center City Philadelphia. This tour provides a unique opportunity to explore the intricate engineering and construction efforts behind one of the city’s most ambitious infrastructure projects. We will delve into the details of the new Abutment 1 and Pier 1 construction from the location of the recently demolished amphitheater, offering insight into the challenges and innovations driving this monumental endeavor. The tour also includes a review of the South Street Pedestrian Bridge extension, a key element that will enhance pedestrian connectivity over Christopher Columbus Blvd. This is a rare opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes knowledge of a project that will significantly reshape the urban fabric of Center City Philadelphia, improving both infrastructure and public space.
