DID YOU KNOW?

DesignWithLight was started by the Philadephia Section of the Illuminating
Engineering Society in 1999 to raise awareness and understanding of the lighting
design profession within the student community. Students are invited to create a custom tabletop luminaireto solve a given design challenge. Each assigned group of students mustdevelop an original and innovative design and present it to a panel of judges.
Every year, we honor the participants by not only announcing the winning pieces, but by showcasing their works of art at the Philament Awards.Take a walk around each table to see these amazing projects in person. You are sure to be inspired!
