Promotion Lead and team - serve on the planning committee and coordinate messaging to professional and university contacts as well as social media. Create email messages, social media posts, and website content that will share key information like RSVP due date, speaker information, and to drum up interest in the event overall.
Section HistoryLead - serve on the planning committee to connect with key members of the Philadelphia section to create a slideshow presentation about SWE Philadelphia. Conduct brief discussions with members to share their insights, request photos, past newsletters, and connect with HQ to share the story of our section. If possible, collect physical items to display on a section information and history table.
Logistics Lead and team - serve on the planning committee to finalize the event program, menu, setup needs. Arrive at the event approximately 11 a.m. to prepare information tables, nametags, set out favors, decorations, and other items. Support cleanup as the event closes.
