World Class Convention Center must have Electrical Power Distribution Systems designed and engineered to exceed the requirements of latest safety, fire and energy codes. The course will describe the challenges that were overcome and innovations that were developed for the Rejuvenation of Power Distribution Systems. Innovations combined Virtual Arc Flash Mitigation, Energy Efficient Transformer, Advanced Metering and Enhanced Selectivity with a Power Monitoring and Advisory System will act an on-site electrical engineer.
The Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, through PIE, has evaluated and approved this “course/activity” as meeting the continuing education license requirements for 1.5 Professional Development Hours in New York State. PSPE believes the “course/activity” will be accepted for credit in PA, NJ and other National Model states where courses do not require pre-approval.
All attendees must arrive at the PA Convention Center Security,
entrance on 13th Street just north of Race Street, by 5:50 PM
to sign in and receive the course handout and certificate.
