Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia
Multi-Society Event 2020
An Air Treatment Mitigation for COVID-19
For 2020, the Engineers’ Club presents a virtual event of wide interest to the engineering and technical community. Our presenters will introduce us to a game-changing innovation designed to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus in indoor environments. Currently in the late stages of expedited Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) review with potential approval expected by year end, this solution is an air treatment with a 20+ year record of proven safety that achieves over 95% efficacy against airborne virus. Our presenters:
William (Bill) Jordan, former Deputy Director of EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs and one of the experts shepherding this solution through a regimen of third-party review, testing, and the currently on-going expedited emergency application for EPA approval of this product.
Etienne and Bill will present the solution, its history, and the latest test findings that demonstrate the potential of the solution to address the challenge of indoor virus spread through airborne transmission.
