Description:
This presentation will be on a building design case study of the University 3.0 project located in University City Philadelphia. The building is an 8-story mixed-use building for lab and office spaces, green roof amenity space, and ground floor retail along the Market Street Platinum Corridor. It will introduce the collaborative design approach used, foundation system selection process, framing options considered for the vibration sensitive floor slabs, and lateral system options considered.

Blake Werley, P.E.
Blake Werley is a P.E., Senior Project Engineer at MacIntosh Engineering located in Wilmington, Delaware. He holds a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He’s in his 10th year in the AE industry and leading MacIntosh’s most challenging building projects.
