Understanding basic financial principles is essential for current and aspiring A/E/C leaders. It’s a critical part of doing business, especially when it comes to analyzing and improving your firm’s bottom line. A firm grasp on these concepts and how they relate will help you communicate effectively with other leaders and climb the success ladder.

Fortunately, the finance side of our industry doesn’t have to be mysterious, or even dry and complicated. Packed with valuable information and case study examples, this session will equip you with the tools to help make smarter marketing and business development decisions, impact your firm’s profitability, and take your seat at the leadership table.

We will cover topics such as:

  • Basic understanding of financial statements
  • Planning your marketing budget
  • Understanding ROI
  • Identifying and applying key performance indicators
  • Your role in boosting your firm’s profitability
